The Care Clowns* of “Angels of Joy” visit Attica’s Elderly Care Units weekly to spread the power and magic of the red nose through their pioneering program “Angel Clown”.
They engage with elderly individuals and people with disabilities in a deeply human way. Their aim is to create a safe and accepting environment where individuals can connect with themselves by wearing a red nose and interacting with the Clowns who help enliven and move them, creating a positive exchange.
The goal of clown art is to reignite the spark in people’s eyes, and bring them joy, love, and vitality. It aims to help people connect with their bodies and emotions, while also providing alternative ways to engage, share and even perhaps find answers to everyday questions through play.
